A Bilingual School Beginning from Early Childhood
Bilingual education is a growing requirement of our time. That is why I founded Busy Bee School.
As globalization advances, proficiency in English—an international language—has become essential for expanding children’s future opportunities. English is now indispensable for communicating with people around the world. In recent years, globalization has accelerated significantly, and it is undeniable that international politics and business are largely conducted in English. I am convinced that mastering strong English skills, not only broadens student’s academic and career prospects but also enriches their lives by fostering confidence, cultural understanding and global awareness.
Learning English is meaningful not only for business professionals who use it daily, but also for young children during their formative years. Early exposure to English enables children to develop the ability to think in English, just as learning Japanese strengthens their ability to think deeply and express themselves clearly in Japanese. This balanced dual-language approach extends beyond the acquisition of vocabulary and grammar. It fosters cognitive flexibility, cultural awareness, and intellectual depth. At the same time, it nurtures a strong sense of identity rooted in Japanese Language and values, while empowering students to use English confidently as a tool for communication and achievement on the global stage.
I believe that nurturing the ability to think in English while maintaining a strong Japanese identity will help open brighter paths for our children’s future.
As expressed in Busy Bee School’s educational philosophy — “to help children reach their full potential with passion and care”—our mission is to foster individuals who embody a broad perspective and can understand not only their own culture, but also the cultures of others. We believe our purpose and responsibility is to cultivate and send out into the world many wise, capable individuals who can thrive in the international community.
